Quick Update

Sorry for the lack of updates, it's been fast and furious over here in Europe. Pictures to come as well.

We had an awesome time in London. Well since the US is the melting pot of the world, I guess London should be the melting "kettle"of the world. We met young travelers from Brasil, Argentina, South Africa, and Australia all in one day at our hostel. We arrived on Sunday May 24 at around 11 am after a fun flight of babies crying, people making out (whats up the with the PDA everywhere in Europe?), and 3 movies. After wandering around Gloucester road we found our hostel, dropped our bags, and headed out to catch the end of the London 7's at Twickenham! It was a great afternoon that ended in a bang as England overcame a 19 point deficit to force overtime and beat the New Zealand All Blacks for the Cup.

The next 2 days we spent all over London. Waterloo Station, Big Ben, the eye of London are all beautiful, especially at night. Our favorite spot was probably Hyde Park and Kensington gardens, though. Monday was a bank holiday so there were literally thousands of people at the park. Camden Town was also a really cool area.

We then met up with the Traveling Aggies crew and it has been a barn burner ever since. Trying to get 40 "dumb Americans" to dinner, or in a museum, or on the metro can be painstakingly slow. We have an awesome crew though so it's been a lot of fun. Everyone's getting to know each other pretty well which only makes things that much better. The pace is warp speed!

We've already covered Paris in 2 days, Brussels in an hour over lunch, and now are in Amsterdam. But more on that later...

The Adventure Begins

Thanks to all who are interested in following our blog about our trip through Europe! We are incredibly blessed to have this opportunity and are excited to share this experience with you.

Quick overview of the trip and the blog: Whitney and I are traveling through Europe, mostly with the Traveling Aggies, but also on our own for a portion in London (our current location) as well as Spain and Portugal.

The "B" Team has a double meaning - not only does it stand for Becker, Whitney and I also have B+ bloodtype, and called ourselves the "B" team when it came to competitions (which was quite frequently in our household!).

We'll leave it up to you guys to figure out who is writing the blog!
